The ROSE Advanced Master’s degree (second-level Specialising Master’s, formally known as Post-Master’s Vocational Programme) in Earthquake Engineering of the ROSE School is jointly awarded by the University of Pavia and the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. During the 12-month programme, students will acquire the ability to undertake seismic design of new structures and the assessment and strengthening of existing structures as well as to design, execute and evaluate assessments of sites’ seismic hazard.
Internship
Students will have the opportunity to work alongside leading professionals in the field of earthquake engineering. Training will be carried out at Eucentre Foundation, GEM Foundation or at other research or professional institutions affiliated with the Advanced Master’s programme.
Career Paths
The ROSE Advanced Master’s prepares participants for a wide range of academic and professional paths, from PhD studies to careers in engineering firms, research centres, public institutions, and international organizations in earthquake engineering and disaster risk management.
