Alberto Pavese is Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Structural Mechanics at the Università di Pavia. He took his Laurea degree at the Università di Pavia (1987) and his PhD in 1992 at the Politecnico di Milano. His main research fields are: experimental methods and structural identification, diagnosis and modelling of monumental structures, seismic assessment of reinforced concrete bridges and buildings, development of expert systems for aided design and diagnosis of structures.
