Alexandros Lalas graduated in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) at National Technical University of Athens in 2011. Immediately after he obtained the Greek professional engineer licence.
During the same year he was selected in the ROSE program to continue his studies with the MSc in Earthquake Engineering. Currently he is working on his master dissertation.
His main interests include displacement based seismic design, probabilistic seismic assessment of structures, the analysis and design of reinforced (cast in situ and precast) concrete structures, the repair and strengthening of old structures and finally bridge design.
